Learning Outcomes — CBSE Class 7 CT Syllabus

Abstract Thinking
— Analyse 3D objects including their nets, cross-sections, rotations, and reflections. Interpret compound transformations — multiple flips, turns, and folds applied in sequence
— Identify hidden relationships and constraints within incomplete figures or logical setups. Analyse symmetry, congruence, and proportional reasoning across different representations
— Interpret relative positions, viewpoints in complex visual scenarios

Pattern Recognition
— Multi-rule sequences: alternating, nested, and dependency patterns
— Algebraic patterns using expressions, and functional relationships
— Visual and geometric patterns formed through transformations
— Letter and symbol patterns with positional and logical dependencies
— Integrated patterns combining numbers, shapes, logical conditions

Decomposition
— Separate interconnected conditions and constraints into solvable components. Number properties — factors, multiples, ratios, percentages, powers within layered clues
— Spatial reasoning, measurements, and geometry deconstructed
— Tables, grids, charts, and flow diagrams with multiple dependencies
— Visual or verbal information translated into structured data

Algorithmic Thinking
— Rule-based sequences with conditional branching — different rules for different conditions. Grid navigation and pathfinding with decision points and blocked routes
— Step-wise transformations: calculations, swaps, transfers, positional changes. Ordering elements using multiple attributes simultaneously
— If–then reasoning, elimination strategies, logical consistency checks
